Clipboard access (required) lets Copytrove remember what you copy; macOS 15.4 or later asks once, choose “Always Allow”. To change it later: System Settings → Privacy & Security → Paste from Other Apps → Copytrove. Accessibility (optional) is needed only to paste into the app you are working in; without it, items are copied and you press ⌘V yourself. You can grant it in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility.
Press ⇧⌘V from any app. You can change the shortcut in Copytrove Settings → Shortcuts.
No. Your clipboard content never leaves your Mac: we do not collect it, and the app has no analytics, advertising or crash-reporting SDK. The privacy note explains the few optional network requests (licence checks, update checks).
Open Copytrove, go to Settings, open the Pro (licence) section and press “Activate in browser”. You sign in on the web and the app activates itself, with no key to copy. Your key and devices are also in your account.
On the Mac, open Copytrove Settings → Pro and choose “Remove this Mac…”. If you no longer have that Mac, sign in to your account and remove it from the device list. The seat is then free to use on another Mac.
No, they are separate. Pro bought in the App Store is not recognised in the version downloaded from our website, and a licence bought on our website is not recognised in the App Store version. Choose the one that matches where you installed the app.
In the App Store version, choose “Restore Purchases” in the app's Pro settings while signed in to the same Apple ID you bought with. This also works after reinstalling or moving to a new Mac.
Website purchases are sold by Paddle; our refund policy explains the request steps. App Store purchases are refunded by Apple: open reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with the Apple ID you bought with, and choose “Request a refund”.
